At Silver Lining Produxtions, we believe in the inherent value of knowing and holding our history. Our archive studio is designed to preserve the documents, photos, videos, and research that have contributed to our existence in the service of our collective liberation.
The value of media in the collective movement for liberation can never be overstated. At Silver Lining Produxtions we choose to be radical, learning history through the unfiltered lives of people living now. Our digital storytelling provides the space for ordinary people to become victors. Our one-to-one consulting services support organizations in developing digital storytelling narratives through the use of cinematography and audio services.
The People’s Liberation School is a dual functioning aspect of our organization. At its core, it provides our framework. We believe that stories have the power to change the trajectory of our universe and shift the collective consciousness. The People’s Liberation School provides workshops for both organizations and communities around storytelling, preserving our history, and how stories can be used to handle practical problems within both our organization and the communities we live in and serve.
Leveraging our professional background, we explore the connection between data and storytelling to create a data narrative. In this process, we assist organizations in developing data continuums for grant reporting through the intersections of storytelling to tell a broader more complete story of organizational impact.

COMMUNITY ARCHIVE STUDIO

Preserving organizational labor is pivotal to ensure that the lives and experiences of people served are honored, as we look for new ways to better serve communities. We believe that archiving this labor better informs the day to day labor in the service of improving outcomes for the most vulnerable people in our community.
Our archival services include a complete review of organizational records to extract meaningful information, stories, and data to inform practices and assist organizations in developing their organizational timeline. The development of a timeline assists organizations in discovering key milestones, metrics, moments of convergence during the enactment of legislative to better understand how organizational labor is impacted by the broader constituency and culture that it exists in.
As a service to Black-led non-profit organizations, we offer our services for free for up to forty billable hours. By providing this service for free, we hope to continue to live in our mission and honor the contributions of Black-led non-profit organizations as they do the arduous and necessary work of uplifting the lives of Black people.
Each archival project is unique and for this reason, we do not offer a structured pricing agreement. Upon request and after completion of a booking meeting, our team will develop an individualized pricing proposal that encapsulates the proposed budget of the organization and our organization’s capacity.

ONE-TO-ONE CONSULTING

Our one-to-one consulting services are offered to organizations to assist them in the development and implementation of their own digital storytelling projects through the use of cinema and auditory mediums. We can assist organizations in the development of their digital storytelling projects, assist organizations in bringing their story to life, or handle every aspect of the project from start to finish!
As an added service, we also offer our consulting service for organizations that opt to use our services to develop their project at a discounted rate.
We offer competitive pricing packages that are designed to meet the unique needs and budget of the organization that we serve.
Storyboard/Digital Storytelling Narrative Development:
This package provides organizations with the unique experience of having Silver Lining Produxtions develop your entire story based insights provided to us by you. We’ll work alongside staff to bring your vision to life, assist you in sourcing local vendors, and developing timelines to ensure that you meet your goals and deadlines.

Storyboard/Filming/Product Development:
We take your great idea and make it real! This plan is designed to make creating your digital storytelling project simple. Silver Lining Produxtions handles everything; from storyboard development, orchestrating casting calls, and filming we handle the entire production of your organization’s vision. We keep you up to date and well informed using our project management software to streamline communication and ensure transparency around deliverables. We provide real time updates, revision cycles, and a community driven approach to learn our subjects to minimize the risk of exploitation and subjugation. By providing a “one stop shop” package, we alleviate the burden of extraneous hiring, management, and time by existing as the integral piece that handles it all.

THE PEOPLE’S LIBERATION SCHOOL

At current we offer a three-part storytelling curriculum built in conjunction with The Highlander Center’s “Cultural Organizing 101”. During this three-part course, participants will have the opportunity to build, develop, and explore their own timeline while also expanding their connection to the broader community.
While we recommend that organizations purchase the entire three-part curriculum series, we do offer each workshop as a one time purchase as well.
Three-Part Storytelling Curriculum: $950.00
Workshop Facilitation Costs Per Workshop*: $175.00/hour
*This is the cost if an organization chooses not to purchase the entire three part series. The duration of each workshop is one hour.
